South Island Consultant Opportunity

Nicki Hayward had an operation on her spine last week that will see her out of action for a number of weeks and then, and we blame her husband for this, she will be moving to Tasmania.  Now there are many things that we could say about this - the most important being YIPPEE as Nicki will continue to fly the flag for No8HR in Tasmania which is a market that we have been active in on and off for a few years now that is full of promise... So good luck over the next period through recovery and the big move Nicki.

...which means there is an opportunity for an outstanding HR practitioner to join our team at No8HR.

So if you’re an HR professional who is looking to continue with your career on your own terms but doesn’t want the isolation of consulting on your own….

And you have -

  • Significant generalist HR experience
  • An affinity with the rural sector, and
  • Previous people management and / or consulting experience

Employee of the Month!

This month’s winner of our Employee of the Month award is Farm Assistant Oliver Milne of Sandy Point Farm in Papakura. Oliver was nominated by Sharemilker Bronwyn Ward.

"Oliver is trustworthy, reliable, has good time management and uses his initiative – if he sees a leak he deals with it – he doesn’t wait to be told.  He has also really helped us with cost cutting efforts this season and taken on extra responsibilities.  He impresses us because he is always willing to try new things and push himself out of his comfort zone.  He has a great work ethic and is very much a team player.  He is committed to the industry and is keen to learn more – he is involved in Discussion Groups and is studying through PrimaryITO.

Most importantly, we can go away and know that Oliver will look after our business as if it’s his own – he puts our business needs ahead of his personal needs when he is left in charge, we have complete faith in him.

Congratulations Oliver – Great Job!
