DWN is an inspirational organisation with a growth strategy centered on its purpose of giving unlimited opportunities to women involved in the NZ Dairy Industry. 

Their primary focus is to create opportunities for women (and men) to get off farm and connect with others.  DWN develop, facilitate and promote events and initiatives where members acquire industry-based knowledge and a range of task and soft skills that will strengthen their businesses and develop their dairying careers. 

The organisation has a nation-wide network of members supported by volunteer regional leaders who coordinate activity in the regions.

The Network has increasingly become an influential industry participant and attracts significant support from leading partners and organisations. This helps them to add even more value to their membersand their businesses. 

The Network is now looking for a new CEO to work with the Board to help them shape and execute strategy, ensuring they continue to sustainably thrive and deliver for their members.  As CEO you will have responsibility for leading the Network to the next level. 

The critical competencies we are looking for are:

  • strong leadership and management experience
  • a strategic mind with the ability to develop, lead and implement strategic plans
  • confidence and experience in building and fostering strong relationships, and
  • the empathy to work well with others to empower women in dairying.
