Puniu River Care is a Charitable Trust and Incorporated Society that incorporates members from marae along the riverbank.  Their mission is to enhance the taonga within the Puniu River catchment with a vision of creating safe places, healthy waters and healthy people. 

They are looking for an Operations Manager to lead the team in delivering the purpose of the organisation.  As this role works with marae and hapu, it would be beneficial to be confident in Te Reo and Tikanga Maori, have a real affinity for nature and native species and you’ll need to be happy to roll your sleeves and get stuck into it.

What they are looking for is someone with:

• strong leadership and management experience
• a passion for the horticulture industry and restoring and protecting the natural environment
• a desire to make a real difference for the Puniu waterways, now and in the future
