Process for Referral Vacancy Management
- You complete the information questionnaire and take photos
- We compile a ‘Information Pack’ to use to market your position to candidates
- We place your position on our web-page and notify suitable applicants on our database of the vacancy
- You may choose to also advertise your vacacy in our 'Latest Listings' in Farmers Weekly for an additional cost of $75 (excl GST)
- We discuss your vacancy with suitable applicants
- We provide you with the details of applicants who are interested in your position. These applicants will have undergone a brief telephone interview to ensure that your position meets their expectations and will have been reference checked for their general suitability
- We pass the details of these applicants to you for you to manage the selection process
- You contact the applicants you think are suitable and arrange to interview them and carry out any other selection activities. We will provide you with an information sheet to help with this.
- You undertake a final referee check (or checks) with any applicant you wish to progress further with so that you can be sure they will fit your requirements.
- You offer the job to the successful applicant and negotiate terms and conditions of employment with them
- We handle notification to our unsuccessful applicants

Fee Structure
Choosing to work with No.8 HR Referral Service means you are investing in our applicant database and reducing the time you spend on the recruitment process. The cost of our Referral process reflects the benefits you will receive. Our costs for this service are:

Please note that all salary figures quoted are calculated on base remuneration excluding housing and any other benefits.
Payment Details
A non-refundable deposit of $500 is payable upon acceptance of the terms and conditions of service. This deposit covers the costs of registering the vacancy, the compilation and insertion of your vacancy information on our website and the provision of an approrpaite job outline for your position. The job outline and farm information pack (which you can download from the web) are yours to continue using in the future.
Advertising costs (if incurred) are payable by the end of the month in which they are incurred.
The balance of the fee due is payable upon signing of the employment agreement or contract with the successful applicant.
