Meredith MacKenzie - Senior Consultant

Meredith’s primary focus is helping managers create great workplaces.  Leadership development and coaching have been her passion for 20 years, in agribusiness, corporate, SME and volunteer organisations.  Her style is practical, enthusiastic, and informed, with the flexibility to assist managers at all levels of their career.

Meredith’s senior management experience has been in Veterinary, Finance and Not-for-profit sectors, complimented by an MBA (dist), Vet degree, HR training and she is a certified Gallup Strengths Coach.

Outside of work, if the sun is shining she will probably be riding or mountain biking or gardening, and if it is dark or wet she is more likely to be quilting or curled up with a book.  Involvement with not-for-profit Boards also keeps her busy and happy.

Kathryn is a Senior Consultant based in Canterbury and brings a wealth of leadership, project and people management experience.   

With a drive to achieve successful business outcomes, Kathryn brings her experience and skills in getting great performance out of people through helping clients apply strategies that will work for them in their businesses.  With industry experience as diverse as training and education, hospitality and health in her background Kathryn has not only held roles with specialist people leadership focus, she has significant general and project management skills and has successfully held large people, budget and asset portfolios.

Rounding out her professional experience, Kathryn and her husband run their own driving school business so really know what it feels like to be invested and responsible as business owners.

Adrienne joined the No8HR team in March 2018 after a 15-year stint with Farmlands, working herself up the ranks to Business Manager.

Adrienne brings with her extensive knowledge of the primary industry's needs and experience in customer service.  Her skills include key accounts and stakeholder relationship management, planning and staff management skills.

With a background in both public and private sectors, and experience in running a family business, Paula can easily relate to the problems faced by businesses in ensuring they meet their obligations under legislation.  Paula's career has spanned payroll, HR and accounts areas and she juggles part time work for No8HR with her commitments to her young family.

Paula takes responsibility for our accounts and payroll functions and gets involved in providing advice and assistance to clients in this area.

Lee is one of the founders and a director for No8HR.  Her extensive international HR. leadership and people development experience means she keeps an oversight on the technical delivery aspects of our business' performance.   She is passionate about client success, business performance, and helping those involved in business maximise their personal and professional potential.

Lee is a Chartered Member of the Human Resources Institute of New Zealand and has built a strong reputation nationally for both her professional expertise and her abilities as a motivational speaker and facilitator.

Scott Duncan - Office Administrator

Scott Duncan - Office Administrator

Scott joined the No8HR team after graduating with a Diploma and Certificate in International Tourism and Small Business.  With a number of part-time, customer-facing roles under his belt, Scott is always looking for ways to help his customers, both internal and external, and has a fantastic ‘can-do’ attitude.  

Well and truly a Gen Z (or Generation Z or iGeneration or iGen or Post-Millennial – take your pick!), Scott brings to the team an uncanny and instinctive ‘knack’ for all things technology that is only possible for those who have grown up in the technology era.  This inherent understanding, as well as his strong customer ethos and his desire to get things right make Scott a great asset to both our team and our clients.

Dan Sullivan

Dan is a qualified vet based in the North Island central plateau where he is involved in both veterinarian and farm consulting work.

Dan’s motivation for becoming involved with No8HR lies in seeing many in the agri sector having problems with mismatched farming relationships, he says he would like to be able to create the right partnerships for success on farm.

 

Paul Martin

Paul Martin

Paul is a Farm Consultant and vet working in the wider Northland region. He consults to a wide range of dairy farm clients ranging from large corporate farmers, to small one man owner operators.

Paul has a down to earth manner, and works closely with his clients to achieve their goals. He has been involved at various levels in recruiting, employing and training staff for his clients, and regards successful staff placement as one of the most basic requirements in order for a farm business to operate profitably and efficiently.

Sam is from a farming background with experience in dairying, sheep, beef, deer and technosystem bulls.

Keen to stay in the agriculture industry Sam completed his degree at Lincoln University, graduating in 2007 after undertaking an honours programme in diet selection. This has reinforced his interest in animal nutrition and farm management.
