Clark Collins

Clark joined the No.8 HR team following a two year stint as a recruitment consultant for a large corporate based in Hamilton.  Prior to this he worked in a more generalist HR role in New Zealand before travelling overseas for a five year period working as an English language tutor in Asia.

Clark has a degree in organisational psychology and is most active in recruitment at No.8 HR.  He is focused on ensuring both applicants and clients receive the highest levels of service and get great job matches.

Warren has spent over thirty years in Taranaki and brings a wealth of practical as well as technological knowledge to his work within the dairy sector. Warren also travels extensively through his farm consulting work, and is currently working on dairy farm projects in Turkey and Brazil, and has been involved in recruitment of staff for the Brazil project.

Warren has joined the No8HR team to help farmers find the best fit of staff for their farming system. He has been involved in recruiting for his own clients for a number of years, and also believes in assisting good staff to progress within his own client base.

“We have the skills now to examine all farm systems and design a best fit for all our clients taking into account their strengths and weaknesses, and this includes putting the right staff in place. It is only by doing this that we will truly maximise productivity.”

Andy Collier

Andy consults to No8HR as a way of improving the overall service he is able to offer to his clients in the greater Waikato area. He has over 20 years experience in large animal health and a post graduate qualification in dairy cow medicine.

Andy's longstanding interest in the dairy industry in particular means he is well placed to help you select the people who are going to produce top results on your farm.

 

Paul Martin

Paul Martin

Paul is a Farm Consultant and vet working in the wider Northland region. He consults to a wide range of dairy farm clients ranging from large corporate farmers, to small one man owner operators.

Paul has a down to earth manner, and works closely with his clients to achieve their goals. He has been involved at various levels in recruiting, employing and training staff for his clients, and regards successful staff placement as one of the most basic requirements in order for a farm business to operate profitably and efficiently.

 

Greg O'Byrne

Greg has more than three years experience as an consultant.

He comes from a 14 year dairy farming career and also has experience as a rural bank manager. His practical knowledge gives him good understanding of the needs of today's dairy farmers. He is also involved in organising equity partnership investments.

 

 

Chris Pyke

Chris is an experienced veterinarian with Cambridge Veterinary Services (New Zealand) and is passionate about getting all aspects of his client’s farming business running smoothly. From animal health through production to ensuring the right people are employed in the right jobs to make sure you’re getting the best out of your business.

Chris is experienced in recruiting Veterinarians and staff for his practice and is using his experience to consult to No8HR as part of his commitment to his clients and the industry.

With a focus on systems and his broad range of experience in several industries Simon brings sound technical and analytical skills to the businesses he works with. Simon consults to No8HR because he is committed to finding the best fit between farm owner / manager and worker so that the business is not only profitable but an enjoyable place to be.

Simon has been involved in recruitment and development of staff in a number of different industries and enjoys seeing people improve themselves and progress with their careers.

 

Lindsay Rowe

Lindsay Rowe

Lindsay joined as a consultant to No8HR as a way of further contributing to the agri-industry which he has been involved in for most of his life. With interests in Farm Consulting (through Intelact Ltd.) and “Totally Vets” Lindsay describes himself as committed to helping farmers get the best out of all aspects of their business whilst still appreciating the lifestyle opportunities that many seek.

Lindsay believes that getting good staff is critical to any business functioning well, and to the business owners and managers achieving their profit and personal goals.

 

Dan Sullivan

Dan is a qualified vet based in the North Island central plateau where he is involved in both veterinarian and farm consulting work.

Dan’s motivation for becoming involved with No8HR lies in seeing many in the agri sector having problems with mismatched farming relationships, he says he would like to be able to create the right partnerships for success on farm.

 

Nicola Watt

Nicola Watt

Nicola is involved in a large scale farming operation in Canterbury where she plays a significant role in the recruitment of staff. She has a background in farm consulting which she balances with the needs of her own farming business.

Nicky joined the No8HR team in order to extend the contribution she can make to clients having seen the importance of making the right staffing choices first hand.

 

Sam Williams (B.Agr.Sc Hons)

Sam Williams (B.Agr.Sc Hons)

Sam is from a farming background with experience in dairying, sheep, beef, deer and technosystem bulls.

Keen to stay in the agriculture industry Sam completed his degree at Lincoln University, graduating in 2007 after undertaking an honours programme in diet selection. This has reinforced his interest in animal nutrition and farm management.

Lee is one of the founders and principle consultants for No.8 HR.  Her extensive international HR and training experience along with her practical approach to 'on farm' solutions ensures great people selection and high performance outcomes for her clients.   She is passionate about helping agri-business owners maximise their personal and business performance through effective ‘people’ strategies.

Lee is a professional member of the Human Resources Institute of New Zealand and has built a strong reputation nationally for both her HR expertise and her abilities as a motivational trainer and facilitator.
